🌊 LIVING WITH AL-GHAFFĀR
To live with Al-Ghaffār is to stop disqualifying yourself from His mercy.
It is to stop believing Shayṭān when he whispers, “You’ve gone too far.”
Al-Ghaffār is the One who
🌙 Knows how many times you’ve fallen
🌤️ Sends reminders before each sin
🩹 Covers you after each mistake
🕊️ Invites you back even when you feel unworthy
But do not abuse His name.
Do not sin and say, “He will forgive me.”
Do not hide from Him when He is the One who veils you.
Do not expect forgiveness while refusing to leave the sin.
Instead
Return every time
Cry every time
Try every time
Even if it takes your whole life to overcome one sin
Al-Ghaffār will still be waiting at the finish line.
🤲 DU’A TO AL-GHAFFĀR
Yā Ghaffār. The One who never tires of forgiving, even when we are tired of ourselves.
You are the One who sees our relapse and still responds with gentleness.
You are the One who knows our struggle and still invites us to Jannah.
Yā Ghaffār.
Forgive us when we fall again after promising to stop.
Forgive us when our repentance is weak and our sins are strong.
Forgive us when we think we are unworthy of return.
Make us of those who never stop trying.
Make our hearts soft enough to weep and strong enough to walk back to You.
Make our record filled with return after return until the end is sealed in Your mercy.
And when we fall again,
Let us fall in prostration, not in pride.
Āmīn.
