📖 QUR’ANIC VERSE

📌 Surah An-Nisā’ 4:6

“Test the orphans until they reach marriageable age. Then if you perceive in them sound judgment, release their property to them. And do not consume it wastefully and quickly, before they grow up. Whoever [does so], then indeed he has eaten a great sin. And sufficient is Allah as Reckoner (Al-Hasīb).”

📚 Tafsir (Ibn Kathir, Al-Qurtubi, As-Sa‘di)**

  • This verse warns about unjustly consuming the wealth of orphans.
  • Al-Hasīb here serves two meanings:
    1. Allah is sufficient as your guardian and provider
    2. He will take account on the Day of Judgment for every penny, every action, every trust

Al-Hasīb says: “If no one sees what you stole — I do. If no one appreciates what you gave — I do.”

🪞 Tafhīm (Relatable Understanding)

  • You wonder: “Who’s keeping track of what I’ve lost and what I’ve done?”

Al-Hasīb says: “I am. And I will repay all, with nothing missing.”

📜 HADITH REFERENCE

📌 Sahih al-Bukhari 7405

Narrated by Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with him):

The Prophet ﷺ said that Allah said:
“O My servants, it is only your deeds that I record for you, and then I will fully repay you for them. So whoever finds good, let him praise Allah. And whoever finds otherwise, let him blame no one but himself.”

📚 Tafsir (Ibn Rajab, An-Nawawi)**

  • Allah is Al-Hasīb:
    • He keeps full record
    • He rewards beyond measure
    • He never forgets the smallest deed, good or bad

You’re not invisible. And your deeds are never wasted.

🪞 Tafhīm (Relatable Understanding)

  • You helped someone and were never thanked. You gave, you forgave, you held back.

Al-Hasīb wrote it all down — and you will see it again, multiplied, when it matters most.

🌍 EVIDENCE IN TODAY’S WORLD

1. You Were Taken Advantage Of — And Stayed Silent

  • No justice came from people. But your heart whispered: “Allah is enough.”

That’s Al-Hasīb — the One who counts what others erase.

2. You Gave Without Recognition

  • At home. In relationships. For Allah.

Al-Hasīb sees it all — and He alone will repay what others ignored.

3. Your Sins Weighed on You — Then You Repented

  • You wondered: “Can I ever erase this?”

Al-Hasīb holds the scale — and He accepts repentance and wipes records clean.

4. You Feel Empty, But Remember: “Allah is Enough”

  • No friends. No answers. No strength. But you whisper His Name.

Al-Hasīb is also the One who is sufficient for you, when the world isn’t.

❤️ EMOTIONAL ANCHORING

Al-Hasīb is the One who says:
“I am enough. I keep count. I will repay you in full — with justice, with mercy, with no injustice at all.”

He:

  • Records your efforts
  • Protects your rights
  • Replaces what was taken
  • Holds every soul to perfect account

You may forget what you did for Allah —
But Al-Hasīb never forgets.

🤲 PERSONALIZED DU‘A

(Inspired by Qur’an 4:6 and Hadith Bukhari 7405)
Not from the Prophet’s exact words — but drawn from authentic meanings

Yā Hasīb,
You are enough for me — in loss, in fear, in hope.
Keep my record clean. Accept what I gave sincerely.
And on the Day of Return, let me find Your mercy outweighing my deeds — because You are the most just and most generous of all Reckoners.
