“[All] praise is due to Allah, the Bringer-Forth (Fāṭir) of the heavens and the earth, [Who] made the angels messengers with wings — two or three or four. He increases in creation whatever He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.”
📚 Tafsir (Ibn Kathir, Al-Baghawi, Al-Sa‘di)**
- Fāṭir as-samāwāti wal-arḍ = the One who:
- Brought them into being without model or prior matter
- Split the darkness of nonexistence into creation

- Water breaks through rock

Narrated by ʿĀ’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her):
The Prophet ﷺ began his night prayers with the duʿā:
“O Allah, Lord of Jibrīl, Mīkā’īl, and Isrāfīl — Bringer-Forth (Fāṭir) of the heavens and the earth — Knower of the unseen and the seen…”
