The Omnipotent • The One Who Has Power Over All Things, Whose Will Cannot Be Resisted, and Who Creates and Controls With Absolute Ability
✨ ROOT MEANING
Arabic root: ق – د – ر (qāf • dāl • rāʼ)

| Qadara (قدر) | To measure, decree, have full ability over something |
| Qadīr (قدير) | One who is fully capable, powerful, and able to bring about any outcome |

📖 QUR’ĀNIC VERSE
📌 Surah Al-Baqarah 2:20
“…Indeed, Allah is over all things Qadīr (Omnipotent).”
📚 Tafsir (Ibn Kathir, Al-Sa‘di, Al-Baghawi)**
- This verse is part of an ayah describing:
- Allah’s control over light, thunder, and sight
- His ability to withdraw or give, shake or still, with ease
- Al-Qadīr is not just the Strongest — He is the Designer, Executor, and Final Say in every matter:
- Creation, destruction, mercy, justice, and resurrection
No task is difficult. No result surprises Him. His Qudrah (power) is flawless, precise, and always balanced by His wisdom.
🪞 Tafhīm (Relatable Understanding)
- You whisper: “Is there any way this could change? Could this even be possible?”
Al-Qadīr replies: “Yes — if I will it. And nothing can stand in My way.”
📜 HADITH REFERENCE
📌 Sahih Muslim 2699a
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Allah says: O son of Adam, if your sins were to reach the clouds of the sky, then you sought My forgiveness, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, if you came to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth, and then met Me not associating anything with Me, I would come to you with as much forgiveness.”
📚 Tafsir (Ibn Rajab, Imam Nawawi)**
- Al-Qadīr’s power is seen in:
- Limitless forgiveness
- The ability to wipe away entire histories of sin in one moment
- Turning hopelessness into healing, when no one else can
- His power isn’t just in punishment — it is in healing, lifting, transforming hearts
Only Al-Qadīr can forgive everything, and still have more to give.
🪞 Tafhīm (Relatable Understanding)
- You think: “It’s too late for me. I’ve done too much.”
Al-Qadīr answers: “Nothing is too big for Me. I hold the heavens — your past is not heavier than My mercy.”

❤️ EMOTIONAL ANCHORING
Al-Qadīr is the One who says:
“You are not bound by your limits — you are held by My power. When you feel weak, look to Me. When things seem impossible, I remind you: I only need to will it, and it will be.”
He:
- Creates without fatigue
- Changes without effort
- Forgives without depletion
- Brings life to what was lifeless
You are never stuck — not when Al-Qadīr is the One writing your story.

Yā Qadīr,
My strength is limited — Yours is infinite.
Move what I cannot move.
Heal what no one else can touch.
Make possible what I’ve stopped believing in.
And let me witness Your power — not in fear, but in love and trust.
